Whether you need to assign add-on app licenses, add members to groups, or perform any other member management task, ArcGIS Online includes time-saving capabilities such as filters and bulk actions to help you get the job done.\r\n\r\nYou can see these capabilities at work when doing the following common member management tasks:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Managing app licenses and groups for members assigned a specific user type<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Allocating more credits to members who need them<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Removing licenses from inactive members to free them up for others<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Changing the ownership of items owned by multiple members<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nFor a demo of these capabilities, watch the video <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=aqiEKm9l7Tk&amp;feature=youtu.be\"><em>Time-Saving Tips for Managing Members in ArcGIS Online<\/em><\/a>.\r\n<h3><strong>Manage App Licenses and Groups<\/strong><\/h3>\r\nIf you want to assign ArcGIS Navigator licenses to the mobile workers in your organizational account, follow the steps below.\r\n\r\n<strong>Step 1:<\/strong> Sign in to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arcgis.com\/home\/index.html\">ArcGIS Online<\/a> as an administrator and click Organization at the top of the site. For more information, visit\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/doc.arcgis.com\/en\/arcgis-online\/administer\/manage-groups.htm\">manage groups<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/doc.arcgis.com\/en\/arcgis-online\/administer\/manage-licenses.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_9E69F589B2F747BC8C203CD704B70B70\">manage licenses<\/a>.\r\n\r\nNow you can move on to managing credits.\r\n<h3><strong>Allocate More Credits to Members<\/strong><\/h3>\r\nCredit management is a common task for many organization administrators, but it doesn\u2019t have to be a time-consuming one.\r\n\r\nAs members of your organization complete their daily work in ArcGIS Online, the number of credits allocated to them may become low. Before you start receiving a slew of email requests for more credits, you can proactively update the credit allocation for members who are running low.\r\n\r\nAgain, the filters on the\u00a0Members\u00a0tab are your best friends.\r\n\r\n<strong>Step 1:<\/strong> If necessary, start by clearing the existing filters and selection to return to the full list of members.\r\n\r\n<strong>Step 2:<\/strong> Expand the\u00a0Credits remaining\u00a0filter. You want to find members who have fewer than 300 credits remaining so you can increase them to 500 credits. Under\u00a0Less than, type\u00a0300\u00a0and press\u00a0Enter\u00a0to filter the members list."},{"acf_fc_layout":"image","image":407602,"image_position":"center","orientation":"horizontal","hyperlink":""},{"acf_fc_layout":"content","content":"<strong>Step 3:<\/strong> Select all the members in the filtered list using the check box at the top and click\u00a0Manage credits."},{"acf_fc_layout":"image","image":407612,"image_position":"center","orientation":"horizontal","hyperlink":""},{"acf_fc_layout":"content","content":"<strong>Step 4:<\/strong> In the Set credit allocation box, increase the credit allocation and click\u00a0Save."},{"acf_fc_layout":"image","image":407622,"image_position":"center","orientation":"horizontal","hyperlink":""},{"acf_fc_layout":"content","content":"And that\u2019s it. Members can continue their work without interruption because they have enough credits. And you don\u2019t need to spend time responding to emails. Everyone wins!\r\n<h3><strong>Remove Licenses for Inactive Members<\/strong><\/h3>\r\nAs members come and go\u2014or change roles, departments, or teams\u2014some cleanup is required to free up or reassign resources like app licenses. For example, your organization may have inactive members who you\u2019ve discovered don\u2019t work with ArcGIS Online, and you need to make their app licenses available for other members to use.\r\n\r\nYou can do this quickly using the\u00a0Last login\u00a0and\u00a0App\u00a0filters.\r\n\r\n<strong>Step 1:<\/strong> Expand\u00a0Last login\u00a0and click\u00a0Never\u00a0to filter the list to show members who have never signed in. Then, expand the\u00a0App\u00a0filter and select the add-on app you want to reassign, such as\u00a0ArcGIS Insights."},{"acf_fc_layout":"image","image":407632,"image_position":"center","orientation":"horizontal","hyperlink":""},{"acf_fc_layout":"content","content":"<strong>Step 2:<\/strong> Select the members in the newly filtered list and click\u00a0Manage Add-on licenses."},{"acf_fc_layout":"image","image":407642,"image_position":"center","orientation":"horizontal","hyperlink":""},{"acf_fc_layout":"content","content":"<strong>Step 3:<\/strong> In the\u00a0Manage add-on licenses\u00a0window, uncheck the box for the app license you want to unassign.\r\n\r\n<strong>Step 4:<\/strong> Click\u00a0Save. For example, suppose several employees have left your company in the last month, but your company wants to maintain the valuable content assets they owned. Reassigning their content to another owner allows the organization to continue maintaining the items moving forward. Fortunately, ArcGIS Online offers an easy way to transfer these items in bulk.\r\n\r\n<strong>Step 1:<\/strong> Find and select each of the members whose content you want to reassign.\r\n\r\n<strong>Step 2:<\/strong> Click the\u00a0More\u00a0menu and click\u00a0Transfer content."},{"acf_fc_layout":"image","image":407662,"image_position":"center","orientation":"horizontal","hyperlink":""},{"acf_fc_layout":"content","content":"<strong>Step 3<\/strong>: In the\u00a0Transfer content\u00a0window, select a new owner and a target folder for the items and click\u00a0Transfer.
