You have found a useful layer that represents terrestrial ecoregions, but the layer covers the entire world, while all of your other layers are restricted to Honduras.\r\n\r\nFor this tip, you\u2019ll make a copy of the terrestrial ecoregions layer that\u2019s clipped to Honduras. You\u2019ll also add metadata so you can trace the clipped layer back to its source.\r\n<h3><strong>Step 1. Review the data<\/strong><\/h3>\r\nStart by reviewing the dataset to determine the best method for extracting the data you need.\r\n\r\nDownload the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.arcgis.com\/sharing\/rest\/content\/items\/d58036ee1b1d448f826c1e2ed78d18a4\/data\">Ecoregions project package<\/a>. A file named\u00a0Ecoregions.ppkx\u00a0is downloaded to your computer. A\u00a0.ppkx\u00a0file is an\u00a0ArcGIS Pro\u00a0project package. It may contain maps, data, and other files that you can open in\u00a0ArcGIS Pro.\r\n\r\nNow find the downloaded file on your computer. Double-click\u00a0the file name to open it in\u00a0ArcGIS Pro. If prompted, sign in with your ArcGIS account. You will need to use the\u00a0Clip\u00a0tool instead.\r\n\r\nRight-click anywhere on the map again and click\u00a0Clear\u00a0to clear the selection.\r\n<h3><strong>Step 2. Find a clipping layer<\/strong><\/h3>\r\nTo clip the\u00a0Ecoregions\u00a0layer, you\u2019ll first need a polygon feature representing Honduras.
