When hurricanes and floods threaten coastal communities, emergency responders and urban planners have a new tool for recovery and resilience. They are using GIS<\/a> technology and real-time data from Esri\u2019s ArcGIS Living Atlas of the World<\/a> to track storms and map flood zones. They can monitor flood risk, for example, using the Live Stream Gauges map layer that reveals near real-time water level data from global sensors.<\/p>\r\n
