We are too, so we\u2019re hosting an App Challenge for the GEOINT community. Participants are invited to mash up data, perform analytics, and produce an interactive product with Esri tools, then present their finished, tested app to a panel of judges.<br \/>\n<!--more-->This App Challenge will be held completely on the unclassified level and will be conducted solely on a customized ArcGIS Online site. Participants will receive unique ArcGIS Online accounts with log-in information they will use throughout the challenge. <strong>The Challenge will run from 8:00am-5:00pm EDT on Monday, May 9, 2016<\/strong>. Participants have the option of attending on-site at Esri\u2019s Washington, DC regional office OR remotely via an Adobe Connect session.<br \/>\nAll apps should be submitted no later than end of day, May 9, 2016. The theme will be <strong>Humanitarian Assistance\/Disaster Relief <\/strong>(HA\/DR), and all entries will be judged on the following criteria<strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Impact: does the app help to achieve an HA\/DR objective?<\/li>\n<li>Innovation: does the new app achieve an HA\/DR objective in a creative way?<\/li>\n<li>Design: is the app easy to use and appealing to the end-user?<\/li>\n<li>Technical Achievement: does the app work correctly and is it technically impressive?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Entries will be judged on a scale of 1-5, with 5 being a perfect score.<br \/>\nAll participants will have access to Esri-hosted content related to HA\/DR datasets (earthquakes, floods, epidemics\/outbreaks, etc.) and also encouraged to search for and bring in their own data when building their apps.
