The symposium is organized by the American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, the premier imaging and geospatial information society.<br \/>\nAs the world\u2019s leading provider of GIS technology worldwide, my Esri colleagues and I are pleased to join ASPRS for this special opportunity to educate and inspire UAS industry professionals. My keynote session, <strong>\u201cThe Illusion of Simplicity: The Case for Making Drones Easy to Use\u201d<\/strong>, will explore gaining the geospatial advantage by solving application-specific problems using imagery-derived information from UAS systems. I will share recent examples illustrating several use cases, along with observations on near-term trends related to drone use within GIS systems.<br \/>\n<!--more-->My Esri colleagues will be providing several hands-on workshops showcasing our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.esri.com\/products\/drone2map\">Drone2Map technology<\/a>.  In these workshops, attendees can get up close and personal with Esri technology built for professional mapping applications and user-friendly tools that drive better insight and decision-making with intelligent remote sensing.<br \/>\nEsri\u2019s latest enterprise GIS technology streamlines the creation of professional imagery products from drone-captured still imagery for visualization and analysis in ArcGIS.
