Explore using infographics in ArcGIS Maps for Power BI

Have you ever wondered how many people live in Los Angeles? What about downtown LA? What about a very specific neighborhood in downtown LA? And if not LA, what about your town?

 

Use our new infographics to explore demographic information by using ArcGIS Maps for Power BI, a map visualization built into Microsoft Power BI. Pick the demographic variables you want to explore, zoom out, zoom in, and watch the values change. We know it’s hard to find, acquire, and process demographic data into a usable format – that’s why we’ve done it for you! With infographics inside Power BI it’s easy to start learning more about the places that are important to you.

Using infographics, it’s easy to get a quick look across multiple demographic characteristics at once. For example, let’s take a look at population, median age, and disposable income by age bracket for some of the cities that have birthed great technology:
