What's New in Operations Dashboard (December 2017)

At-a-glance decision making with Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS

We are very excited to announce that Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS has moved out of beta and is now released! It is included with your ArcGIS Online subscription and will be available with the ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6 release in January.

Operations Dashboard offers a comprehensive and engaging view of your data, to provide key insights for at-a-glance decision making. It helps you monitor people, services, assets or events by bringing together multiple visualizations that work together on a single screen and are responsive to data that updates in real-time.

Dashboards are composed of elements, such as maps, lists, charts, gauges, and indicators that bring forward key performance indicators and draw your attention to where it’s needed.

Fully Integrated with ArcGIS, leverage your data and maps to author stunning dashboards using a web browser and share them across your organization or with the public so that everyone shares a common view.

Try It Live
The best way to experience Operations Dashboard is to use it. Over the next couple of weeks, we will be providing a number of Dashboards for you to try. Here are a few to get started with:

How it works
Dashboards are items within your organization. You can create them from your content view, when sharing a map, or by launching the Operations Dashboard by clicking the Apps button in the header of your ArcGIS site.

Choose from a rich library of visual elements and configure your visualization to present your data your way.

Drag, group, stack, and resize elements to set the layout how you need it.

Use the action framework to control the behavior of elements and build interactions that let users derive key performance indicators using selectors.

Finally, test and share the amazing Dashboards and related items with your users.

Operation Views
If you are currently using Operation Views within your organization, they will continue to work and be supported. We encourage you to create new Dashboard items that replace your Operation Views and take advantage of all of the new functionality that is now available within your web browser.

Sincerely,

The Operations Dashboard Team
