ArcGIS Mission is being deprecated.
ArcGIS Mission will deprecate on September 14, 2026. It will reach its final planned release alongside ArcGIS Enterprise 12.3 in Fall 2027 and will continue to be supported through the standard ArcGIS Mission Product Life Cycle.
Organizations currently using ArcGIS Mission can continue using existing deployments and are encouraged to evaluate how their operational workflows can be supported through the broader ArcGIS platform. Support, patches, and documentation will continue throughout the product lifecycle.
Why is ArcGIS Mission being retired?
ArcGIS Mission was created to support real-time command and control, geospatial collaboration, and operational awareness for distributed teams. As Esri continues to evolve the ArcGIS platform, ArcGIS Mission is being retired as a standalone product. Organizations can continue to support their operational workflows using a combination of ArcGIS capabilities across the platform, enabling them to tailor solutions to their unique mission and business requirements.
What is the recommended transition and next step?
No immediate action is required. Customers can continue using ArcGIS Mission today and upgrade through planned releases, including ArcGIS Mission 12.2 and 12.3. For longer-term planning, organizations are encouraged to evaluate their current workflows, explore related ArcGIS capabilities such as ArcGIS Field Maps, ArcGIS Dashboards, and ArcGIS Velocity, and work with their Esri account team to discuss options that best meet their needs.
What will happen to my existing ArcGIS Mission deployment?
ArcGIS Mission will continue to be maintained through the ArcGIS Enterprise 12.3 release and then follow its standard product life cycle.
