The Stormwater Utility Network Foundation

- Get started with the Foundation by accessing the documentation. Follow the setup steps from the Get Started tab.
These steps will guide you through installing the tools required to deploy and configure the solution on your ArcGIS Enterprise portal using the asset package. This asset package defines the schema for common stormwater components and the rules to define network behavior.
Included with the Foundation is a stormwater data model. It configures the utility network to include all the feature classes, asset groups and asset types, rules, and other network properties to get started with a utility network. A data dictionary displays how each feature class was designed, with an overview of the fields and asset groups included.
We suggest you test the solution using the complimentary sample data prior to applying it on a subset of your own data. In this way, you can first gather insight into the solution and how it can be tailored to your specific needs. What is Tracing?
Utility network tracing capabilities allow you to analyze the paths in your network.
- There are many core trace types provided with the Trace geoprocessing tool, including Subnetwork, Subnetwork controllers, Upstream/Downstream, Isolation, Connected, Loops, and Shortest path. The trace tool can be configured to address stormwater specific business needs.
- A tracing operation travels a network in one of two methods, connectivity and traversability.
- Traces include three components Starting points, Barriers, and Trace results.
