Canada<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

This release contains the annual update to the Environics Analytics dataset<\/span>. In addition to\u00a0<\/span>2020 demographic\u00a0<\/span>updates, th<\/span>is release include<\/span>s<\/span>\u00a0a<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>new PRIZM segmentation <\/span>system<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>This release of PRIZM segmentation is more than an annual update, it is a complete rebuild of the system.<\/span>\u00a0You can learn more about\u00a0<\/span>PRIZM<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and the demographic updates<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>here<\/span><\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

U.S.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Business Locations\u00a0from<\/strong>\u00a0Infogroup<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>\u2013<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>The\u00a0<\/span>July 2020\u00a0<\/span>quarterly<\/span>\u00a0update\u00a0<\/span>has been included<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>In this release<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>Infogroup\u00a0<\/span>performed<\/span>\u00a0a SIC Code re-assignment process<\/span>\u00a0to approx<\/span>imately<\/span>\u00a043,000 records in the U.S<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>As a result<\/span>, you<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>will<\/span>\u00a0notice some\u00a0<\/span>changes to the\u00a0<\/span>SIC\u00a0<\/span>C<\/span>ode<\/span>\u00a0assignment<\/span>\u00a0and Sales Volume<\/span>\u00a0in\u00a0<\/span>businesses categorized\u00a0<\/span>within<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>SIC 5812\u00a0<\/span>Eating Places<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Learn More<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Places from\u00a0SafeGraph<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>\u2013<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Previously only available through\u00a0<\/span>ArcGIS Marketplace<\/span><\/a>,\u00a0<\/span>SafeGraph\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Places<\/span>\u00a0data\u00a0<\/span>for the U.S.\u00a0<\/span>have\u00a0<\/span>now\u00a0<\/span>been added to the\u00a0<\/span>Business Analyst web app<\/span>\u00a0for use directly within\u00a0<\/span>Business and Facilities Search<\/span><\/a>. This dataset\u00a0<\/span>contain<\/span>s<\/span>\u00a0information on 5 million U.S. places including name, location, industrial classification code, and brand.\u00a0<\/span>P<\/span>laces are defined as locations where consumers can spend money and\/or time and includes places like restaurants, grocery stores, malls, parks, hospital, museums and more.<\/span>\u00a0The data will be updated quarterly.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n"},{"acf_fc_layout":"content","content":"

Business Analyst Web App users can access the updated data through reports, infographics, and maps. The complete attribute list for each country is accessible through the data browser contained in the application.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For the Data Enrichment User in ArcGIS Online and Other ArcGIS Apps<\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

For the Developer using the REST endpoints of the\u202fGeoEnrichment\u202fService<\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

The underlying datasets of the REST endpoints of the\u202fGeoEnrichment\u202fService were updated in\u00a0<\/span>September<\/span>\u202f2020. Some of the changes to the REST endpoints included in this release are:<\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Changes to the layer IDs of the administrative\/statistical boundaries.<\/span>\u202f<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Changes to the layer names of the administrative\/statistical boundaries.<\/span>\u202f<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Changes to attributes\/analysis variables including additions and deletions.<\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Because of updates to the underlying data, users of the\u202fGeoEnrichment\u202fService may need to update these items in the query parameters of REST requests to the service from their apps.
