It also <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">enables<\/span> analytics against <span data-contrast=\"auto\">high-volume data accumulated over time so that you can <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">gain insights into patterns, trends, and anomalies.\u202f Remote monitoring of assets, predictive maintenance, and process optimization are a few of the benefits\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">you<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> can obtain from <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">IoT data.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">ArcGIS\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Velocity<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0is updated regularly,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">below is a quick overview of some highlights in the\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">April <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">2021 <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">release<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">:<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>European region hosting<\/strong> &#8211; ArcGIS Velocity subscriptions can now be hosted in Europe in addition to U.S. -based hosting.\u00a0 The deployment region can be selected as part of ordering a Velocity subscription.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Feeds and data sources<\/strong> &#8211; Support has been added for Verizon Connect Reveal, and the HTTP Poller feed type has been enhanced to support OAuth 2.0 authentication mechanisms.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Analytics<\/strong> &#8211; Two new real-time analysis tools, Detect Gaps and Control Event Volume have been added, and Generalized Linear Regression is now supported for big data analytics.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Outputs and data management<\/strong> &#8211; Spatiotemporal feature layers hosted in ArcGIS Velocity now support the definition and creation of feature layer views.\u00a0 Additionally, real-time analytics can now store output data in feature layers hosted as part of the organization&#8217;s\u00a0<span class=\"ph\">ArcGIS Online<\/span> subscription.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Now, let\u2019s take a deeper dive into each of these exciting new enhancements!<\/p>\n<h1>General<\/h1>\n<p><span class=\"ph\">ArcGIS Velocity<\/span> subscriptions can now be hosted in Europe in addition to the United States. Integrating with popular data and messaging platforms is one of the key capabilities of Velocity.<\/p>\n<p>In this release, <a href=\"https:\/\/doc.arcgis.com\/en\/iot\/ingest\/verizon-connect-reveal.htm\">Verizon Connect Reveal<\/a> has been added as a supported feed type.\u00a0 Organizations with fleets equipped with Verizon Connect Reveal devices can configure Velocity to receive the GPS push messages from the Verizon API.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/doc.arcgis.com\/en\/iot\/ingest\/website-poll-feed.htm\">HTTP Poller<\/a> feed type has been enhanced with OAuth 2.0 authentication support.\u00a0 This includes separate and configurable access token and refresh token paradigms, and broadens support for bringing in data from many vendor and data provider APIs.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the <a class=\"xref xref\" href=\"https:\/\/doc.arcgis.com\/en\/iot\/ingest\/azure-blob-storage.htm\"><span class=\"ph\">Azure<\/span>\u00a0Blob Store<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a class=\"xref xref\" href=\"https:\/\/doc.arcgis.com\/en\/iot\/ingest\/amazon-s3.htm\"><span class=\"ph\">Amazon S3<\/span><\/a> data sources now support the ability to ingest only files that are new since the last analytic run. Once a satisfactory model has been created, the tool can be used to generate predictions on new information.<\/p>\n<h1>Outputs and data management<\/h1>\n<p>An\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/doc.arcgis.com\/en\/iot\/disseminate-and-notify\/what-is-an-output-.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">output<\/a> is a result or action to be taken as a final step in a <a href=\"https:\/\/doc.arcgis.com\/en\/iot\/analyze\/perform-real-time-analysis.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">real-time<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/doc.arcgis.com\/en\/iot\/analyze\/perform-big-data-analysis.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">big data analytic<\/a>.
