You can now control where your territories start.","flexible_content":[{"acf_fc_layout":"content","content":"<p>This is the third article in a blog series that highlights <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esri.com\/arcgis-blog\/products\/bus-analyst\/announcements\/whats-new-in-arcgis-business-analyst-pro-november-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">new capabilities<\/a> in Business Analyst Pro 2.9 &#8211; part of the ArcGIS Pro 2.9 Release.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve added the ability to use seed points in your territory analysis. <a href=\"https:\/\/pro.arcgis.com\/en\/pro-app\/latest\/help\/analysis\/business-analyst\/what-is-territory-design-.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Territory Design<\/a> is part of ArcGIS Business Analyst Pro; allowing you to create and manage territories for any industry\u2014for example, franchise boundaries, distribution zones, congressional districts, and so on. Seed points often represent physical brick-and-mortar locations that serve as a territory&#8217;s home base. Your territory will grow out from that particular site. The image above shows where to load seed points from the context ribbon.
