These layers get updated quarterly with high resolution elevation data from federal agencies, open sources, and community maps program. Esri is providing these datasets as ready to use services that benefit the GIS community and extend the use of data in new and innovative ways. In this release, world elevation layers and tools are updated with a few high-resolution elevation datasets.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.arcgis.com\/home\/item.html?id=58a541efc59545e6b7137f961d7de883\">Terrain<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.arcgis.com\/home\/item.html?id=c753e5bfadb54d46b69c3e68922483bc\">TopoBathy<\/a> layers are updated with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Netherland\u2019s (AHN3 and AHN4) lidar derived high-resolution DTM\u2019s of 0.5 and 10 meters covering whole country of Netherlands. This has enhanced the resolution by six times than previously available ~3 meters data.<\/li>\n<li>SDFE\u2019s lidar derived high-resolution DTM\u2019s of 0.4 and 10 meters covering whole country of Denmark. This has enhanced the resolution by eight times than previously available ~3 meters data.<\/li>\n<li>Expanded coverage of USGS 3DEP 1 meter lidar derived DTM\u2019s covering areas of the conterminous United States. In this release, approximately 376,000 square kilometers (~145,174 square miles) of new coverage of USGS 3DEP 1 meter has been added.
