If you have encountered this, then read on because there is a setting in Collector that you really need to know about\u2026<span id=\"more-38420\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Continuous Collect<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Setting<\/strong><br \/>\nRegardless of the platform you are using, you will find settings from the Maps Screen. Inside of settings there is an option called Collection Style. By default the mode is set to single but if you change it to Continuous then you can enhance your experience.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_38426\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.esri.com\/esri\/arcgis\/files\/2014\/06\/AndroidContiniousCollect1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-38426 noIMGBackground\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.esri.com\/esri\/arcgis\/files\/2014\/06\/AndroidContiniousCollect1-300x90.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"90\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Android Continuous Collect Settings<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"attachment_38423\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.esri.com\/esri\/arcgis\/files\/2014\/06\/iOSContiniousCollect.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-38423 noIMGBackground\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.esri.com\/esri\/arcgis\/files\/2014\/06\/iOSContiniousCollect-300x117.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"117\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">iOS Continuous Collect Settings<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>With continuous collect mode as your collection style, the next time you create a feature options will appear to speed up your next collection:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Like the last one \u2013 this copies both the location and all of the attributes. This is a great option for capturing the same type of thing at the same location. For example \u2013 marking multiple violations at a single location.<\/li>\n<li>Like the last one, at my location \u2013 this copies the attributes but not the location. This is a great option for capturing the same thing at different locations. For example \u2013 capturing a row of newly planted palm trees.<\/li>\n<li>At the same location \u2013 this copies the location but ignores not only the attributes but also resets the type of feature. This is a great option for capturing multiple types of things at the same location.
