These layers get updated quarterly with high resolution elevation data from federal agencies, open sources, and the community maps program. Esri provides these datasets as ready to use services that benefit the GIS community and extend the use of data in new and innovative ways. In this release, world elevation layers are updated with a few lidar derived high-resolution elevation datasets.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.arcgis.com\/home\/item.html?id=58a541efc59545e6b7137f961d7de883\">Terrain<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.arcgis.com\/home\/item.html?id=c753e5bfadb54d46b69c3e68922483bc\">TopoBathy<\/a> layers are updated with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hong Kong\u2019s 0.5 meter DTM&#8217;s covering Hong Kong SAR. This brings 48 times more detail than previously available data<\/li>\n<li>Slovenia\u2019s 1 meter DTM&#8217;s covering the entire country of Slovenia<\/li>\n<li>Berlin\u2019s 1 meter DTM&#8217;s covering Berlin State, Germany<\/li>\n<li>Hamburg\u2019s 1 meter DTM&#8217;s covering Hamburg State, Germany<\/li>\n<li>Saxony-Anhalt\u2019s 2 meter DTM&#8217;s covering Saxony-Anhalt State, Germany<\/li>\n<li>New South Wales\u2019s 5 meter DTM&#8217;s covering New South Wales state, Australia<\/li>\n<li>Poland\u2019s 5 meter DTM&#8217;s covering parts of Poland.<\/li>\n<li>Expanded coverage of USGS 3DEP 1-meter lidar derived DTM\u2019s covering areas of the conterminous United States. In this release, approximately 388,000 sq kms (~ 149807 sq miles) of new coverage of USGS 3DEP 1 meter has been added.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Let\u2019s see a few examples highlighting the
