Although this file type can be displayed in the catalog pane and tool dialogs, the ability to create or edit a shapefile network dataset has never been supported by ArcGIS Pro. Additionally, ArcGIS Enterprise has never supported the publishing of services from shapefile network datasets. Please see the deprecation <a href=\"https:\/\/support.esri.com\/en-us\/knowledge-base\/deprecation-shapefile-network-dataset-deprecation-notic-000030973\">notice<\/a> on the Esri Support <a href=\"https:\/\/support.esri.com\/en-us\/search?q=deprecation&amp;s=Relevance&amp;product=arcgis+pro\">site<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Esri recommends all customers using shapefile network datasets to prepare for this change by building their network datasets in a file geodatabase or enterprise geodatabase. Models and scripts that reference shapefile network datasets will need to be migrated to use network datasets in a file geodatabase or enterprise geodatabase.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Please use the Feature Class to Feature Class\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pro.arcgis.com\/en\/pro-app\/3.0\/tool-reference\/conversion\/feature-class-to-feature-class.htm\">tool<\/a> to migrate the shapefile network data sources into a file geodatabase.
