Areas where the ornament is thin, the light more readily shines through, so it appears light. Thicker areas let less light through, so they appear darker. It\u2019s a 3D negative. Conveniently, this is just this sort of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=yB7Ca86xdcA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">reverse-geographic thinking<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> that I like to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lsWFgI4H5Us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">indulge in<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, and invite of anyone trying to get a sense for the amazing texture of our planet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Would you like to print your own lithophane globe ornament?
