Filters can be used to perform calculations on a subset of features. Fields and functions can be quickly inserted into expressions using the Arcade editor or the new SQL expression editor. Your calculation values can also be previewed before running the calculation, ensuring the desired results. Scripts can also be downloaded and saved for future use. For more information, see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esri.com\/arcgis-blog\/products\/arcgis-online\/data-management\/the-new-sql-field-calculate-experience\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The new SQL field calculate experience<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Attachments<\/strong> can now be deleted, downloaded, updated, or viewed from within the table. You can also now add attachments using a familiar file browsing experience, or drag and drop supported files into the Attachment column.<\/p>\n<p>Changes made to the field visibility, field order, and data sorting from within the attribute table in Map Viewer can now be <strong>saved to the web map or layer item<\/strong>. These configurations are visible when the attribute table is reopened.<\/p>\n"},{"acf_fc_layout":"content","content":"<p style=\"font-size: 115%; margin-top: 1.5em;\"><strong>Improved charts<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Like maps, <a href=\"https:\/\/doc.arcgis.com\/en\/arcgis-online\/create-maps\/configure-charts-mv.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">charts<\/a> help uncover patterns, trends, and relationships in data. When used in conjunction with maps, charts can help you tell a more complete story with your data. The following improvements are introduced in this update:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/doc.arcgis.com\/en\/arcgis-online\/create-maps\/bar-chart-mv.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bar charts<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/doc.arcgis.com\/en\/arcgis-online\/create-maps\/box-plot-mv.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">box plots<\/a> now support a <strong>custom sort<\/strong> option so you can customize them to your preference. For example, you can arrange days in the week in a chart to their natural order.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 0.5em;\">Bar charts and line charts using date fields now support <strong>temporal axis guides<\/strong> for dates or date ranges, enabling you to bring attention to a specific date or range of dates in your chart.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 0.5em;\">Bar charts can now be created using only numeric fields. When you create a sketch layer, you add sketch features to symbolize something you want to show on the map. You can also add descriptive information that appears in pop-ups when sketch features are clicked. The features in a sketch layer are saved with the map and you can edit and update them at any time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sketch layer grid<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When editing features and working with sketch layers, you can now <a href=\"https:\/\/doc.arcgis.com\/en\/arcgis-online\/manage-data\/edit-features-mv.htm#ESRI_STEP_4C8E8ED06D8044689A269A609450521F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">display a customizable grid<\/a> to help guide feature drawing and placement.
