target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Append<\/strong><\/a> tool.<\/p>\n<p>But does <strong>ArcGIS Pro<\/strong> need three data loading options?<\/p>\n<p>To answer this question, let\u2019s compare the similarities and differences between them.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Note: <\/em><\/strong><em>This blog will <strong>not<\/strong> compare the Append tool in ArcMap to the same tool in ArcGIS Pro. But note that Append in Pro has more parameters and features than in ArcMap.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #2f5496\">Similarities<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The <strong>Append<\/strong> tool, <strong>Simple data loader,<\/strong> and <strong>Object Loader <\/strong>are all used for the same purpose\u2013<em>to load data from an input dataset to a target dataset<\/em>.
