Esri is providing these datasets as ready to use services that benefit the GIS community and extend the use of data in new and innovative ways. In this release, world elevation layers are updated with many lidar derived high-resolution Digital Terrain Models (DTM\u2019s).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.arcgis.com\/home\/item.html?id=58a541efc59545e6b7137f961d7de883\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Terrain<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.arcgis.com\/home\/item.html?id=c753e5bfadb54d46b69c3e68922483bc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TopoBathy<\/a>\u00a0layers are updated with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Expanded coverage of USGS 3DEP 1-meter lidar derived DTM\u2019s covering areas of the conterminous United States. In this release, approximately 660,185 sq kms (~254899 sq miles) of new coverage has been added. 3D (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.arcgis.com\/home\/item.html?id=7029fb60158543ad845c7e1527af11e4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Terrain3D<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.arcgis.com\/home\/item.html?id=0c69ba5a5d254118841d43f03aa3e97d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TopoBathy3D<\/a>) and\u00a0Hillshade (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.arcgis.com\/home\/item.html?id=1b243539f4514b6ba35e7d995890db1d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">World Hillshade<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.arcgis.com\/home\/item.html?id=428539ef9cab4017b69d15a40a9ee98b\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">World Hillshade (Dark)<\/a>\u00a0) tentatively by the end of next
