After initializing the global scene, in the Contents<\/strong> pane, check if there is an active Elevation Surface. If so, click the checkbox to turn it off. Input a cube that you want to represent, select a variable that you plan to visualize in the web layer, and specify the output path if needed. Switch to the Environments <\/strong>tab, for the Output Coordinate System<\/strong>, click the drop-down arrow and select \u201cCurrent Map [Scene]\u201d. \u201cGCS_WGS_1984\u201d will pop up in the Output Coordinate System window.<\/p>\n

The default basemap in web scenes only supports Web Mercator or WGS84. Using any other coordinate systems will cause the basemap to fail to load in the web scene. To ensure compatibility, we explicitly use the coordinate system of an ArcGIS Pro\u00a0Global Scene<\/strong>, which defaults to\u00a0WGS84<\/strong>. This guarantees that the output space-time cube layer is created with a supported coordinate system.<\/em><\/p>\n

Configure the Space-Time Cube Layer<\/h3>\n

Once the tool has finished running, the output space-time cube layer will be added to the scene. To begin configuring the visualization, select the space-time cube layer in the\u00a0Contents<\/strong>\u00a0pane, then activate the\u00a0Space Time Cube<\/strong>\u00a0ribbon<\/a> to access visualization and analysis options.<\/p>\n

Interact with the ribbon tools to configure your space-time cube layer. You can change visualizing variables, apply different display themes, and configure a temporal extent. To enable the time slider on the web scene, switch Time Steps<\/strong> to Single or Cumulative.<\/p>\n"},{"acf_fc_layout":"content","content":"

If you are working with a space-time cube layer generated from a grid cube and using\u00a0Points <\/strong>as the Output Geometry Type<\/strong>, be sure to set the\u00a0Symbol Scaling<\/strong>\u00a0to\u00a0Fixed<\/strong>. This allows you to customize the height and width of the bins to better represent your data on a web scene. Upload the Space-Time Cube Layer as a Web Service<\/h2>\n

After you finish setting up the visualization, right click on the space-time cube layer in Contents<\/strong> pane. Click Sharing <\/strong>and select\u00a0Share As Web Layer<\/strong>. Make sure you are signed in to ArcGIS Online or a portal.
