It is especially challenging when events are held in large venues like stadiums, convention centers, and arenas, which include outdoor and indoor spaces. To support these events effectively, agencies need floor-aware maps of indoor locations so they can efficiently coordinate resources and maintain situational awareness within and outside the event venue.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf0\">The Special Event Operations solution helps organizations map operational plans for special events and share them with internal staff and the public. In the <strong>Layers<\/strong> widget, move the layers to the bottom of the layer list.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Map properties,<\/strong> and then click <strong>Enable floor filtering<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In the <strong>Facilities<\/strong> field, select <strong>Facilities<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In the <strong>Floors<\/strong> field, select <strong>Levels<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Under <strong>Additional layers<\/strong>, click the <strong>Add layers<\/strong> button. Select <strong>Event<\/strong> <strong>Areas<\/strong>, and then click <strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Floor level<\/strong>, and then click <strong>Add<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Repeat these steps for <strong>Event Lines<\/strong>, <strong>Event Assets<\/strong>, and <strong>Event Staffing <\/strong>layers. Because these apps all have custom designs for small-screen devices, you must add the widget twice for each app\u2014once\u00a0for the large-screen device view, and once for the small-screen device view.<\/p>\n<p>Event coordinators use the solution&#8217;s Event Operations Planner app to manage events and prepare operational maps.
