These layers are updated quarterly with high resolution elevation data from federal agencies, open sources, and Community Maps Program. Esri offers these datasets as ready-to-use services that benefit the GIS community and extend the use of data in new and innovative ways.<\/p>\n<p>In this release, World Elevation Layers have been updated with numerous lidar-derived high-resolution Digital Terrain Models (DTMs).<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.arcgis.com\/home\/item.html?id=58a541efc59545e6b7137f961d7de883\">Terrain<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.arcgis.com\/home\/item.html?id=c753e5bfadb54d46b69c3e68922483bc\">TopoBathy<\/a>\u00a0layers are updated with:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Scottish Government\u2019s lidar derived 1-meter DTMs from Phase 1 and 2 covering partial areas of Scotland.<\/li>\n<li>Scottish Government\u2019s lidar derived 50-centimeter DTMs from Phases 3-6 covering partial areas of Scotland.<\/li>\n<li>IGN Costa Rica\u2019s 10-meter DTM covering entire country of Costa Rica.<\/li>\n<li>Land Information New Zealand\u2019s (LINZ) lidar derived 1-meter DTMs covering partial areas of New Zealand.
