Local Server 100.3 is compatible with the general releases of ArcGIS Runtime SDK 100.3, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esri.com\/arcgis-blog\/products\/api-net-win-desktop\/3d-gis\/whats-new-in-the-arcgis-runtime-sdk-100-3-release\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">which went live on July 5th of this year<\/a>.\u00a0 Developers can download the Windows and Linux versions of ArcGIS Runtime Local Server SDK 100.3 from <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.arcgis.com\/downloads\/apis-and-sdks?product=local-server\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The ArcGIS Runtime Local Server is an optional yet critically important and strategic component of the .NET, Java, and Qt Runtime SDKs. It provides world-class scientific geo analytical capabilities and data connectivity to your offline custom desktop applications. For more information, please see the Local Server topics for <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.arcgis.com\/net\/latest\/wpf\/guide\/local-server.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">.NET<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.arcgis.com\/java\/latest\/guide\/local-server.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Java<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.arcgis.com\/qt\/latest\/cpp\/guide\/local-server.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Qt<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This release is a significant upgrade to the Local Server. New in this release, you&#8217;ll find:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support for map and geoprocessing packages authored with <a href=\"http:\/\/pro.arcgis.com\/en\/pro-app\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ArcGIS Pro<\/a>\u00a0 2.1 and 2.2 (.mpkx and .gpkx files). This allows you to take advantage of the new ArcGIS Pro based mapping features such as <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.arcgis.com\/arcade\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arcade<\/a> label expressions, the new label expression format across the ArcGIS platform, or new geoprocessing features such as support for Python 3.4.x and new geoprocessing tools.<\/li>\n<li>Support for additional tools from ArcGIS Pro<\/li>\n<li>Compatibility with map and geoprocessing packages created in ArcMap 10.6.x.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, you&#8217;ll find that the <a
