Here are the key highlights:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Customize the Web App by User Roles<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As an ArcGIS administrator, you can already\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/doc.arcgis.com\/en\/business-analyst\/web\/set-preferences.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_A95D17A18E81405B90B65622FAD9DDAA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">customize the logo, title, and the theme color<\/a>\u00a0to give the web app your own branding. Now you can also:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Disable and enable different workflows in the application to create a more tailored application experience according to end user needs.<\/li>\n<li>Customize the classic reports and infographics available in the application to simplify experience by giving users access to only the reports and infographics they need.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For example, let\u2019s say you have two custom roles in ArcGIS Online. Users in the first custom role are occasional users (e.g. brokers) who primarily view maps, create sites, and run Market Profile and Business Locator reports in the Business Analyst Web App. Users in the second custom role are power users who create and setup custom data and report templates so others in the organization can use them. To simplify the web app experience for the occasional users, the organization\u2019s admin can enable only the mapping, site creation, and report running workflows with only the Market Profile and Business Locator reports and hide all other workflows and reports. For example, compare key demographic facts such as population, income, age, daytime population and Tapestry for 5, 10, 15-minutes drive times around a location. Now you can share comparison report templates with other users in your organization as well as use the comparison reports that others have shared with you.<\/p>\n<p>For example, let\u2019s say your business is often using key demographic variables (e.g. population, income, age) and custom data (e.g. sales) variables to compare multiple sites.
