If you haven't started using the new Dashboard web app yet, time to get going!!","flexible_content":[{"acf_fc_layout":"content","content":"<p><span class=\"uiOutputText\" dir=\"ltr\">With the <a href=\"\/\/www.esri.com\/arcgis-blog\/products\/apps\/announcements\/whats-new-in-operations-dashboard-december-2017\/\">December 2017 update of Operations Dashboard<\/a><\/span><span class=\"uiOutputText\" dir=\"ltr\">, we launched an entirely new, web-centric experience for the product that writes\u00a0<em>Dashboard items<\/em> into your organization.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Previously, Operations Dashboard included a Windows app that would write\u00a0<em>Operation View<\/em>\u00a0<em>items<\/em> into your organization. For those who have created Operation Views, the separation of app and item type provided the opportunity to migrate from old to new.<\/p>\n<p>With a year behind us and several updates to the new web app, it is now time for the legacy Operations Dashboard Windows app and Operation View items to retire. The legacy Operations Dashboard product will <a href=\"https:\/\/support.esri.com\/en\/Products\/Apps\/web-apps\/operations-dashboard-for-arcgis\/10-3-4#product-support\">move to a retired state<\/a> on\u00a0<strong>January 1st, 2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"uiOutputText\" dir=\"ltr\">What does this mean for ArcGIS Enterprise users?<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"uiOutputText\" dir=\"ltr\">With the <em>March 2019 release<\/em> of ArcGIS Enterprise (v 10.7), the legacy version of Operations Dashboard will be retired:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"uiOutputText\" dir=\"ltr\">You will no longer be able to create or edit Operation View items.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>You will not be able to create new Operation View items using the Windows app.<\/li>\n<li>Operation View items will be marked as retired in the Home app.<\/li>\n<li>The downloadable Windows app will not be listed within My Esri for download with ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"uiOutputText\" dir=\"ltr\">If you are still using Operation View items, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">we strongly recommend<\/span> that you create Dashboard items using the new Operations Dashboard web app\u00a0<\/span><b><span class=\"uiOutputText\" dir=\"ltr\">now<\/span><\/b><span class=\"uiOutputText\" dir=\"ltr\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"uiOutputText\" dir=\"ltr\"><strong>NOTE:<\/strong> You can continue using previous versions of ArcGIS Enterprise but please realize that in a retired state, technical support will no longer be available.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"uiOutputText\" dir=\"ltr\">What does this mean for ArcGIS Online users?<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"uiOutputText\" dir=\"ltr\">With the Windows app retiring on January 1st, you will need to convert Operation View items to Dashboard items using new Operations Dashboard web app <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">as soon as possible<\/span>.<\/span><span class=\"uiOutputText\" dir=\"ltr\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"uiOutputText\" dir=\"ltr\">With the <em>March 2019 release<\/em> of ArcGIS Online, the legacy version of Operations Dashboard will be retired:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"uiOutputText\" dir=\"ltr\">You will no longer be able to create or edit Operation View items.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>The Windows app used to create operation view items, will no longer be available in the marketplace.<\/li>\n<li>Operation View items will be marked as retired in the Home app.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Dashboard team would like to thank you for the amazing work with our product!
