Here are what I consider to be the top new features of this release.<\/p>\n<p>We have added a new widget called <a href=\"https:\/\/doc.arcgis.com\/en\/web-appbuilder\/create-apps\/widget-network-trace.htm\">Network Trace<\/a>. It was designed to trace a geometric network. For instance, a water utility organization can use this widget to determine an isolation area in the event of a water main break. \u00a0You simply input a point feature and then send those features to a geoprocessing service to trace a geometric network.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Network Trace\" src=\"https:\/\/www.esri.com\/arcgis-blog\/app\/uploads\/2019\/03\/networktrace.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"741\" height=\"512\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve added a new style in the <a href=\"https:\/\/doc.arcgis.com\/en\/web-appbuilder\/create-apps\/widget-scalebar.htm\">Scalebar widget<\/a> for you to display the number in your scale bar. It also includes the options to round the scale number to your preferred decimal place and show a thousand separator.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/doc.arcgis.com\/en\/web-appbuilder\/create-apps\/widget-overview-map.htm\">Overview widget<\/a> can now display your base layer of choice for the overview map.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"overviewwidget\" src=\"https:\/\/www.esri.com\/arcgis-blog\/app\/uploads\/2019\/03\/overviewwidget.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There are two new link options to set URL parameters in the <a href=\"https:\/\/doc.arcgis.com\/en\/web-appbuilder\/create-apps\/widget-share.htm\">Share widget<\/a>. The first, allows the user to find the location or feature and zoom to it, and the second remembers the layers visibility.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"share widget\" src=\"https:\/\/www.esri.com\/arcgis-blog\/app\/uploads\/2019\/03\/sharewidget-1.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This release has also added <a href=\"http:\/\/doc.arcgis.com\/en\/web-appbuilder\/create-apps\/accessibility-support.htm\">support for accessibility<\/a> to improve accommodations for people with disabilities and situational limitations.\u00a0 We have added accessibility for twenty-one widgets and five themes, this includes testing on selected screen readers.
