You can join our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/apps\/testing\/com.esri.collector\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Google Play beta directly<\/a>\u00a0but we really want you to join our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/community.esri.com\/external-link.jspa?url=https%3A%2F%2Fearlyadopter.esri.com%2Fwelcome%2Fdefault.html%3Fkey%3DCollectorforArcGIS\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Early Adopter Program<\/a>\u00a0first. That is coming soon.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Offline<\/strong> <strong>Enhancements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve added some key missing capabilities into the offline story for this beta update:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>When you start Collector in a remote location, you may not have a network connection. With this update, you can now start the app and instantly work with your On Device maps.<\/li>\n<li>You can rename the map areas you create on your device.<\/li>\n<li>The Sync panel shows you the edits you have made on your device and in this update we\u2019ve added details about the errors you may encounter when trying to sync edits. You can tap on the error to see mores details and you can tap on pending features to see their location on the map.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>High Accuracy GPS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With this update, we are deepening our integration with Trimble handhelds and receivers. Previously we only supported WAAS but with this update we are now supporting RTK corrections with R-series receivers. You will need to use the Trimble Mobile Manager app to establish an NTRIP correction source. You&#8217;ll find more details about the Trimble Mobile Manager app in our <a href=\"https:\/\/community.esri.com\/external-link.jspa?url=https%3A%2F%2Fearlyadopter.esri.com%2Fwelcome%2Fdefault.html%3Fkey%3DCollectorforArcGIS\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EAP site<\/a>. We&#8217;ve also added support for sideloading grid-based transformations.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the updates mentioned above, we now support streaming of lines and polygons in the background, have made several UI refinements, and squashed a bunch of bugs.
