These layers get updated quarterly with high resolution elevation data from open sources and community maps program. In this release, world elevation layers are updated with a few high-resolution elevation datasets as below.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.arcgis.com\/home\/item.html?id=58a541efc59545e6b7137f961d7de883\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Terrain<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.arcgis.com\/home\/item.html?id=c753e5bfadb54d46b69c3e68922483bc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TopoBathy<\/a> layers are updated with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lidar derived 0.5-meter DTM\u2019s covering entire Upper Austria state, Austria<\/li>\n<li>Photogrammetrically derived 1-meter DTM covering entire Madrid city, Spain<\/li>\n<li>Updates to USGS 3DEP 1-meter DTM\u2019s covering partial areas of the conterminous United States<\/li>\n<li>Updates to Vienna City 1m DTM\u2019s with 2018 lidar survey<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.arcgis.com\/home\/item.html?id=c753e5bfadb54d46b69c3e68922483bc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TopoBathy<\/a> layer is updated with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Updates to NCEI 1\/9 arc sec (~ 3 meters) DTM\u2019s covering North Carolina, Puerto Rico and U.S Virgin Islands coast<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In this release, approximately 346,000 square kilometers of new coverage of USGS 3DEP 1 meter has been added.
