This...","flexible_content":[{"acf_fc_layout":"content","content":"<p>With our most recent release, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.arcgis.com\/home\/item.html?id=10df2279f9684e4a9f6a7f08febac2a9\" target=\"_blank\">World Imagery basemap<\/a> now contains updated coverage of more than 230 urban areas around the globe. This is our third, and by far the largest, batch of Pl\u00e9iades imagery released. We released Pl\u00e9iades imagery in 60 urban areas <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.esri.com\/esri\/arcgis\/2014\/12\/04\/global-urban-areas-updated-with-pleiades-imagery\/\" target=\"_blank\">last year<\/a>. Pl\u00e9iades, a product of CNES\/Airbus Defence and Space, provides sub-meter resolution imagery with more recent acquisition dates than our previous imagery. It also replaces areas of cloud cover and provides general imagery improvements. This\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/arcg.is\/1xgl1VJ\" target=\"_blank\">web map<\/a>\u00a0provides the footprints of areas included in the update. The metadata applies only to the best available imagery at that location.
