\u00a0 \u00a0Mobile scene packages were introduced back in ArcGIS Pro 2.3. Support for mobile scene packages has expanded across the ArcGIS Platform. You can package your 3D content and scenes and consume them offline in popular ArcGIS Runtime clients such as ArcGIS Earth<\/a>, ArcGIS Earth mobile<\/a>, and Appstudio for ArcGIS<\/a>. You can also build custom ArcGIS Runtime apps to consume these packages. At ArcGIS Pro 2.5 we are excited to announce additional functionality that will not only make it easier to create mobile scene packages but support functionality you have requested.<\/p>\n"},{"acf_fc_layout":"content","content":"

Rasters as elevation sources<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 In the first releases of mobile scene packages, tile packages were the only allowed elevation sources in mobile scene packages. ArcGIS Pro 2.5 supports writing non-tiled raster files as elevation sources<\/a> to mobile scene packages.\u00a0 Reading non-tiled raster files as elevation sources from mobile scene packages will be supported in ArcGIS Runtime 100.7. <\/a>Keep in mind that not all Esri clients such as ArcGIS Earth will be on the 100.7 Runtime immediately.<\/p>\n"},{"acf_fc_layout":"content","content":"

Transportation Networks<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 Transportation networks<\/a> are now supported in mobile scene packages. If you have a network dataset in your scene it will now be packaged as a transportation network in the mobile scene package for 3D routing workflows in ArcGIS Runtime apps.<\/p>\n"},{"acf_fc_layout":"content","content":"

Services<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 Until now mobile scene packages have been an offline-only capability. In order to accommodate offline and online workflows ArcGIS Pro 2.5 will allow certain services<\/a> to be written to the mobile scene package. These include map, scene and image services. An important note here is that services in mobile scene packages are not currently supported in ArcGIS Runtime clients but support is expected later this year. Until this feature is supported in ArcGIS Runtime, please continue to use local datasets only when working with ArcGIS Earth or other ArcGIS Runtime based apps.<\/p>\n"},{"acf_fc_layout":"content","content":"

Related Records<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 A new parameter<\/a>\u00a0 Select Related Rows<\/em> has been added to the create mobile scene package tool to allow clipping of features with related records.
