We aim to please!<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, September 29th, we will be offering a free, four-hour hands-on guided lab aimed at helping developers to build map apps with ArcGIS Online, APIs and Services, Open Source, and AppStudio for ArcGIS (for native apps). <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/geogangster\">John Gravois<\/a>, one of our star developers on the GeoDev Team, will be down giving instruction as well as assisting attendees with their own projects that they have brought along with them on their own machines.<\/p>\n<p>This is our seventh time hosting a HackerLab and so far, the responses have been phenomenal. We have had more requests than we imagined having, and we are loving it! It gives us the opportunity to see what developers in different communities are working on, and we know we have had a little part in accomplishing their goals.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.esri.com\/arcgis-blog\/app\/uploads\/2015\/09\/20150916_130232.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-54792 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.esri.com\/arcgis-blog\/app\/uploads\/2015\/09\/20150916_130232-300x168.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you are in the area on Tuesday, feel free to come by, as we still have plenty of room! We start promptly at 12:30pm and go until 5pm. After the HackerLab, we will be hosting a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.meetup.com\/DevMeetUpCalifornia\/events\/224726203\/\">GeoDev Meetup<\/a> in the same location from 5:30pm \u2013 9pm.<\/p>\n<p>GeoDev Meetups are technosocials for developers in the area to come together, do a bit of networking as well as technology transfers via lightning talks. Once again, the event is completely free and open to all those who are working in software development or with others who do.
