The\u00a0<\/strong>World Topographic Map<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/strong>World Imagery Map<\/a>\u00a0have both been updated with new content!<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>As part of\u00a0ArcGIS Online<\/a>,\u00a0Esri\u2019s Basemaps<\/a>\u00a0support a vast GIS community. Thank You to our Contributors and Partners who help support the\u00a0Living Atlas of the World<\/a>\u00a0by providing data and enriching these amazing resources.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

This release incorporates updates to the World Topographic Map for cities and counties in the United States and new content in the world Imagery Map for New Zealand.<\/p>\n

In a recent blog post I read that talked about socializing GIS<\/a>, Clint Brown suggested that geographic data is all about “layers”. I agree and the application below<\/a> proves it.\u00a0See which communities provided valuable map layer updates in our latest release.<\/p>\n
