Open up your <strong>Revit Model<\/strong><br \/>\n2. To Geolocate your model in Revit, go to the <strong>Manage <\/strong>tab, select <strong>Coordinates<\/strong>, and go to <strong>Specify Coordinates at Point.<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Input <\/strong>your <strong>Coordinates <\/strong>of your project site.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>For a more in depth description on adding in your Coordinates, check out this blog <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esri.com\/arcgis-blog\/products\/arcgis-pro\/3d-gis\/coordinates-in-revit-for-use-in-arcgis\/\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>3. Open a new ArcGIS Pro Project and select a new <strong>Local Scene.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>We are adding the Revit model in a <strong>Local Scene<\/strong> first rather than a <strong>Global Scene <\/strong>because Revit models are inherently not created in any coordinate system, and thus will not have any specified projection file (a PRJ) or transformation parameters (WLD) and cause display issues in the Global Scene. Once you define the PRJ and WLD, the global scene will display your Revit model fine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>2. Go to <strong>Add Data, <\/strong>and browse to\u00a0your <strong>Revit model.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>If your data is not perfectly aligned or need to geolocate the model, first <strong>remove <\/strong>the <strong>full model<\/strong>, then go to <strong>Add Data, <\/strong>click into the <strong>Revit Model,<\/strong> then open up the <strong>Architectural <\/strong>folder, and select the <strong>Floors layer<\/strong>. This will help with processing.<\/li>\n<li>Select the <strong>Floors<\/strong> <strong>layer <\/strong>in <strong>Drawing order<\/strong>, go to the <strong>Building<\/strong> <strong>Manage <\/strong>tab, and select <strong>Georeference<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Use the <strong>Move to Display <\/strong>tool to move your model into the correct location, along with the other edit tools (<strong>Move, Scale, Rotate<\/strong>). Remember to always <strong>Save\u00a0your edits!<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n"},{"acf_fc_layout":"content","content":"<p>FIX THIS HERE<\/p>\n"},{"acf_fc_layout":"content","content":"<h3>Uploading to ArcGIS Online<\/h3>\n<p>1. Go to the <strong>Analysis\u00a0<\/strong>tab, and select the\u00a0<strong>Tools\u00a0<\/strong>option. The\u00a0<strong>Geoprocessing\u00a0<\/strong>window will open on your left.<br \/>\n2. In the <strong>Search bar,\u00a0<\/strong> search for the\u00a0<strong>Create Building Scene Layer Package<\/strong> tool.<br \/>\n3. In the tool,\u00a0<strong> add\u00a0<\/strong>your <strong>model\u00a0<\/strong>as the\u00a0<strong>Input Dataset.\u00a0<\/strong>Leave the Select the location of your <strong>Output\u00a0<\/strong>dataset.<br \/>\n4. Leave the <strong>Output Coordinate System\u00a0<\/strong>as is and press <strong>Run.\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n5.<strong> Sign in<\/strong> to your <strong>ArcGIS Online Organization<\/strong>.<br \/>\n6. In your <strong>Contents\u00a0<\/strong>tab, go to\u00a0<strong>Add items,\u00a0<\/strong>and select\u00a0<strong>From your computer<\/strong>. Select the\u00a0<strong>Scene Layer Package,\u00a0<\/strong>give it a\u00a0<strong>Name, Summary,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Tag.<\/strong> Press\u00a0<b>OK.<\/b><\/p>\n"},{"acf_fc_layout":"content","content":"<h1>Part 3: Viewing your model in ArcGIS Online<\/h1>\n<p>With the model now hosted on ArcGIS Online as a Scene Layer, let\u2019s view it.<\/p>\n<p>1. Traverse to your uploaded <strong>Scene Layer<\/strong>\u00a0under your\u00a0<strong>Contents<\/strong>.<br \/>\n2. Click on the thumbnail to <strong>Open<\/strong>\u00a0your <strong>Scene Layer in a\u00a0Scene<\/strong>.<br \/>\n3. Because we uploaded a Revit Model, we are also able to view the model by floor. Open your <strong>ArcGIS Urban Model<\/strong>.<br \/>\n2. Press the <strong>Add Button<\/strong> and select <strong>Projects<\/strong>.<br \/>\n3. Draw in the <strong>new Project Polygon<\/strong> and press <strong>Add Project<\/strong>.<br \/>\n4. Fill out some information like the<strong> Name, Description, Status<\/strong>, etc. Press <strong>OK<\/strong>.<br \/>\n5. Select the new <strong>Project<\/strong>, go to the <strong>Options<\/strong> button and choose <strong>Configure<\/strong>.<br \/>\n6. Go to the <strong>Scenarios Tab<\/strong> and choose a <strong>Scenario<\/strong>.<br \/>\n7. Under <strong>Design Visualization<\/strong>, choose your <strong>uploaded Scene Layer<\/strong> and press <strong>OK<\/strong>.<br \/>\n8.
