Earlier this week, The Qt Company announced their latest SDK offering,\u00a0the release of Qt 5.6<\/a>. This release is significant in a number of ways, and introduces some exciting new features for Qt users and developers.<\/p>\n

The current release of ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Qt, 10.2.6<\/a>, supports this new 5.6 release, as we always strive to provide the best support possible for the latest and greatest Qt SDKs.<\/p>\n

However, there is an important item of information we need to communicate to our Apple users regarding iOS support with 10.2.6 and Qt 5.6.<\/p>\n

Qt 5.6 may introduce some backward compatibility issues on iOS platforms, so we strongly recommend that ArcGIS Qt developers targeting iOS devices use Qt 5.5.1 SDK instead, for now. We are working very closely with The Qt Company on a fix for Qt 5.6.1. Stay closely tuned for updates.<\/p>\n
