If you are an ArcMap user, and you have experience publishing a geoprocessing service<\/a>, you will find this functionality makes your transition to ArcGIS Pro<\/a> easier. Also, if you have an ArcGIS Server rather than ArcGIS Enterprise, you can start to publish your analysis to your ArcGIS Server from ArcGIS Pro.<\/p>\n

Prerequisites<\/h2>\n

Like with all the publishing workflows, you will need an ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Server, and credentials to your ArcGIS Server. The following requirements must be met:<\/p>\n

  1. The version of ArcGIS Pro must be 2.4 or above.<\/li>\n
  2. Your credentials for ArcGIS Server must be an administrator account.<\/li>\n
  3. Your ArcGIS Server is not federated with any Portal for ArcGIS.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    You may be wondering why you need an administrator account to ArcGIS Server when you need to publish a geoprocessing service. This is the current limitation.
