This is especially useful for predictive weather and climate live data feeds.\u00a0 This blog shows how to configure the future or forecast option. For a complete overview of configuring live data options visit this <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.esri.com\/esri\/arcgis\/2017\/01\/19\/live-data-options-with-the-time-aware-template\/\" target=\"_blank\">blog post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To set now (or when the application is opened) as the start time of your time slider, select the new forecast option located on the top of the Live Data Option tab in the configuration panel. This signifies your data contains future or forecast data.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.esri.com\/arcgis-blog\/app\/uploads\/2017\/02\/config-panel.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-75072\" src=\"https:\/\/www.esri.com\/arcgis-blog\/app\/uploads\/2017\/02\/config-panel-300x293.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"293\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Example 1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/sharedtheme.maps.arcgis.com\/apps\/TimeAware\/index.html?appid=cde357a6bcb24afabcbbead03cb30350\" target=\"_blank\">Storm Watch 2017: SoCal Rain Forecast<\/a> app shows the precipitation forecast in Southern California over the next 72 hours. \u00a0Using the new forecast option, the app will set the start time to time it is opened or refreshed.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.esri.com\/arcgis-blog\/app\/uploads\/2018\/02\/wathergif.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-75243 <a href=\"http:\/\/webapps.maps.arcgis.com\/apps\/TimeAware\/index.html?appid=dad1bc0fb7334683b0b006a649524505\" target=\"_blank\">Town Hall 2017<\/a> app shows the planned town hall meetings in
