We have added some exciting new features and improvements to the app. Here are the highlights of the release:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Support <\/strong><strong>for Storyteller user type<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ArcGIS Companion now supports the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esri.com\/arcgis-blog\/products\/arcgis-storymaps\/sharing-collaboration\/4-things-to-know-about-new-storyteller-user-type\/\">Storyteller<\/a> user type that was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esri.com\/arcgis-blog\/products\/arcgis-online\/announcements\/whats-new-arcgis-online-december-2019\/\">introduced<\/a> in January 2020. Administrators can use the app to assign this <a href=\"https:\/\/doc.arcgis.com\/en\/arcgis-online\/reference\/roles.htm\">user type<\/a> to applicable members. If this is your first time signing in to your portal with the app, you need to be on the network from where your portal is accessible. Tap the Sign In button, Add account &gt; choose ArcGIS Enterprise, add the portal URL (such as https:\/\/myportal.esri.com\/portal), tap next, and sign in using OAuth2 with your built-in account or using Enterprise login.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bug fixes and other improvements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Based on your feedback, we\u2019ve made the following corrections to improve your experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you\u2019ve enabled auto sign-in from the app settings, Companion now checks if the password has changed and prompts you to enter new credentials, when applicable. This new check occurs even if the password was changed outside of the app.<\/li>\n<li>You can now remove any <span class=\"ph\">ArcGIS Enterprise<\/span> portal URLs from the Saved URL page, including inactive portal URLs.<\/li>\n<li>Product icons are no longer missing on the manage licenses page.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Please note that the ArcGIS Companion app version has jumped from 2.5 to 3.1.
