Well, there are many new experiences for us these days. Of course not least among them is the possibility that you are now a remote GIS professional, a parent, a home-school teacher, and any number of other things you have to be when you are sheltering in place. So to aid in harnessing that glimmer of opportunity of collaborating…yes collaborating…with your kids on GIS projects, I lay before you this, our sixth #TakeYourWorkToKidsDay challenge…<\/p>\n

Living Atlas Cross-Stitch<\/h2>\n

You read that right. Go get the kids. There are three steps involved in this challenge…<\/p>\n

  1. Crack open the ArcGIS Living Atlas of the World<\/a>, look around for cool layers, and choose a topic.<\/li>\n
  2. Render this data as cross-stitched maps<\/a>, obviously. Engage with your young GIS proto-professionals. Set those imaginations ablaze.<\/li>\n
  3. Share your map on the socials (tag us and #TakeYourWorkToKidsDay) or comment below with your master work.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
