It guides you through the steps and provides immediate feedback, so what you learn in one step may influence your decisions in another. Distance analysis<\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/pro.arcgis.com\/en\/pro-app\/tool-reference\/spatial-analyst\/optimal-region-connections.htm\">Optimal Region Connections<\/a> tool has a new parameter that determines if the paths will continue within the input regions.<\/p>\n<p>To follow the pattern established in the <a href=\"https:\/\/pro.arcgis.com\/en\/pro-app\/tool-reference\/spatial-analyst\/an-overview-of-the-distance-tools.htm\">Distance<\/a> toolset where the original tools were moved into their own <a href=\"https:\/\/pro.arcgis.com\/en\/pro-app\/tool-reference\/spatial-analyst\/an-overview-of-the-legacy-distance-tools.htm\">Legacy Distance<\/a> category, \u00a0the raster functions for distance analysis have been similarly restructured.\u00a0 In the <a href=\"https:\/\/pro.arcgis.com\/en\/pro-app\/help\/data\/imagery\/list-of-raster-functions.htm\">list of raster functions<\/a>, those in the Distance group should be the ones used for analysis going forward.\u00a0 The functions provided in previous releases have been relocated to the new Distance (Legacy) group.<\/p>\n<p>The new <a href=\"https:\/\/pro.arcgis.com\/en\/pro-app\/help\/data\/imagery\/optimal-path-as-raster.htm\">Optimal Path As Raster<\/a> raster function has been added to the Distance group.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n"},{"acf_fc_layout":"content","content":"<h2>4. You can also represent the input classes as rows or fields using the <strong>Classes as rows in output table<\/strong> parameter.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/pro.arcgis.com\/en\/pro-app\/tool-reference\/spatial-analyst\/zonal-statistics.htm\">Zonal Statistics<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/pro.arcgis.com\/en\/pro-app\/tool-reference\/spatial-analyst\/zonal-statistics-as-table.htm\">Zonal Statistics as Table<\/a> tools and the <a href=\"https:\/\/pro.arcgis.com\/en\/pro-app\/help\/data\/imagery\/zonal-statistics-global-function.htm\">Zonal Statistics<\/a> raster function have a new percentile statistics type to compute extreme events. Surface analysis<\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/pro.arcgis.com\/en\/pro-app\/tool-reference\/spatial-analyst\/aspect.htm\">Aspect<\/a> tool has a new parameter, Project geodesic azimuths, to correct the angle distortion caused by the output spatial reference. These angles can be used to accurately locate points along the steepest downhill slope.
