Layer groups<\/h1>\n

Organize layers in your map or app into groups using the layer groups functionality in Map Viewer Beta. Using layer groups, you <\/span><\/span>can\u00a0<\/span><\/span>conveniently turn groups of layers on and off and quickly reorder groups of layers.<\/span><\/span> You can also show more levels of geography for a single data set.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Labeling options for clusters<\/h1>\n

Add clarity to your clusters by including a label that appears on each symbol. The label can show the number of points in the cluster or the average value of the clustered points. You can also customize the font, size, placement, offset, and halo of your labels, as well as set the minimum and maximum size of the clusters.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sophisticated layer blending<\/h1>\n

A<\/span>\u00a0blend method takes two or more layers and \u201cblends\u201d the pixels normally drawn by each layer.\u00a0<\/span>Map Viewer Beta now includes<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>30+ blend methods\u00a0<\/span>which<\/span>\u00a0give you<\/span>\u00a0control over what shows through and how colors and textures between layers appear.\u00a0<\/span>You\u2019ve probably used layer trans<\/span>parency in the past and been disappointed with a washed-out result. Blend modes\u00a0<\/span>gives you the power<\/span>\u00a0to enhance your maps without obscuring\u00a0<\/span>them.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Blending\u00a0<\/span>is a property setting on\u00a0<\/span>a layer.\u00a0<\/span>This means y<\/span>our layers remain independent<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0and you can easily turn blending off\u00a0<\/span>and return to the\u00a0<\/span>layer\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>original\u00a0<\/span>state<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Improved symbology<\/h1>\n
