Do you want to use your enthusiasm and knowledge of 3D spatial analytics to help develop world-class software solutions? The ArcGIS 3D Analyst team helps users all over the world make the most of their 3D data. We’re seeking highly motivated individuals to bring state-of-the-art technology to a large and diverse customer base with a wide range of 3D applications.


  • Work as a product engineer designing, prototyping, testing, and documenting new software tools and techniques
  • Sharpen and exercise your skills in presenting, demonstrating, and communicating with staff and customers
  • Grow capabilities for lidar data management, analysis, classification, and feature extraction tools
  • Deploy tools that utilize deep learning technology to solve complex problems
  • Grow expertise in using Triangulated Irregular Network (TIN) for surface modeling as well as its use as a spatial data structure
  • Help make 3D textured reality meshes useful for more than just visualization
  • Support spatial analysis on 3D features, including spatial proximity queries and solid operators


  • Emphasis in one or more of the following: geography, planning, environmental studies, engineering, computer science, statistics, GIS
  • Proven track record solving complex problems involving lidar, TIN, and/or 3D geometry
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Master’s degree, depending on position level

Recommended Qualifications

  • Experience with ArcGIS
  • Scripting/programming with Python, C#, C++
  • Experience with surface analysis, DEM/DTM production, 3D data visualization
