Overview


Be responsible for payroll G/L account reconciliation, assisting with various payroll audits, and reporting. You will work and coordinate with the payroll team to ensure audits are completed timely and new accounting pronouncements are understood and adopted appropriately by the impacted users and departments.

Responsibilities


  • Conduct monthly reconciliations by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies
  • Support all domestic and international statutory payroll audits and other financial compliance activities
  • Review affiliate entities to ensure compliance with local accountant standards and conduct quarterly analysis of affiliate entities
  • Provide supporting documentation to assist with annual forecasting needs of FP&A team

Requirements


  • Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Familiarity with accounting financial statements with the ability to prepare and analyze them
  • High level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to prioritize demands and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, negotiating, reasoning, and problem solving
  • Ability to develop strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Vlookups and pivot tables
  • Bachelor’s in accounting or in a related area with accounting certificate

Recommended Qualifications


  • 3+ years of prior experience in financial accounting or a similar position
  • Experience with international entities and foreign currency
  • Experience with SAP or other large ERP system
  • Current or actively working to obtain a CPA license
