Overview


Be responsible for payroll G/L account reconciliation, assisting with various payroll audits and reporting, and processing monthly foreign payrolls to ensure our employees are paid in an accurate and timely manner and that all accounting for labor and benefits are properly recorded.

Responsibilities


  • Maintain monthly reconciliations and analyze various balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Review affiliate entities to ensure compliance with local accounting standards and conduct quarterly analysis of affiliate entities
  • Support all domestic and international statutory payroll audits and other financial compliance activities as needed
  • Develop, draft, and implement policies and procedures, including identifying any process improvements
  • Post monthly GL entries and labor distributions
  • Serve as point of contact for employees, HR, and ICP for assigned countries
  • Process monthly payroll for multiple foreign countries with in-depth knowledge of the local payroll and benefits requirements
  • Process annual reporting as required in each country

Requirements


  • Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • High level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to prioritize demands and meet deadlines
  • Ability to identify an opportunity or problem and develop a creative solution
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse team
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Vlookups and PivotTables
  • Bachelor’s in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field

Recommended Qualifications


  • Experience with payroll processing practices and accounting
  • Experience with international operations and foreign currency
  • Experience with Ceridian Dayforce or other HCM application
  • Experience with SAP or other large ERP system
