Overview


This role supports Esri’s financial reporting and technical accounting activities, including statutory audits and policy research and documentation. In this role, you will coordinate across the entire accounting department to ensure audits are completed timely and new accounting pronouncements are understood and adopted appropriately by the impacted users and departments.

Responsibilities


  • Support all domestic and international statutory audits and other financial compliance activities as needed
  • Assist with the timely preparation and review of financial information for domestic and international entities
  • Research and assist with the adoption of new accounting pronouncements, and collaborate with cross function teams to ensure impacted users are trained appropriately
  • Assist with M&A integration activities including technical accounting issues, tax consequence identification and financial reporting
  • Review affiliate entities to ensure compliance with local accountant standards and conduct quarterly analysis of affiliate entities
  • Support creation of new or liquidation of current entities in SAP

Requirements


  • Bachelor's in Accounting with 2 years of prior experience in public accounting or a similar position; or a Master's in Accounting with 1 year of prior experience in public accounting or a similar position
  • Strong foundational knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Ability to research technical accounting matters and prepare well-written memorandums and presentations articulating these matters to both well versed accountants and non-finance stakeholders
  • Bring a detail-oriented and hands on style; have excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize demands to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking with the ability to analyze financial results
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse team

Recommended Qualifications


  • Current or actively working to obtain CPA license
  • Experience with international entities and foreign currency
  • Experience with SAP or other large ERP system

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

 

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $66,560.00 - $92,560.00.
