Responsibilities


  • Use your coding and problem-solving skills to deliver impactful solutions to Esri
  • Develop and review architecture plans
  • Participate in code and security reviews
  • Collaborate with colleagues to gather and understand business needs and requirements and create functional prototypes to address them
  • Create unit test plans and develop integration tests
  • Troubleshoot and resolve varying levels of technical issues
  • Sharpen your skills by staying current with trends and frameworks within the JavaScript community

Requirements


  • 2+ years of development experience
  • JavaScript and HTML experience to collaborate effectively with the development team
  • Ability to apply functional programming principles to shape system architecture
  • AngularJS and Node.js experience to design elegant solutions
  • Experience querying relational and NoSQL databases to integrate data with the design
  • Experience using REST APIs for building upon existing systems
  • Knowledge of SDLC and Agile development methodologies to be familiar with the development process framework
  • Approachable to enjoy regular meetings with a broad range of colleagues
  • Bachelor’s in information systems, computer science, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

Recommended Qualifications


  • Cloud services familiarity will be helpful in navigating parts of the environment
  • ServiceNow platform exposure is ideal since that is the focal point of the role
  • Knowledge of AWS services such as Simple Queue, Simple Notification, and Redis would also lower the learning curve
  • Knowledge of third-party JavaScript tools such as Kendo UI which are frequently leveraged
  • Familiarity with asynchronous and scalable service-oriented architectures would also lower the learning curve
  • User interface design and usability expertise will help you with building prototypes
  • SaaS application back office integration expertise would allow you to grow more quickly in the role
  • Experience developing with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 would likewise accelerate your growth
  • A comfort level with version control systems such as Git will make it easier to work in the shared development environment
