Overview


Provide technical License Configuration expertise in identifying, evaluating, and implementing Product Plans in support of back-office product configuration.

Responsibilities


  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in Software Productization, License Entitlements Configuration, through collaborations, technical document analysis, and product knowledge
  • Elicit Product Licensing requirements from multiple sources using interviews, document analysis, product plans, business process descriptions, use cases, and business analysis to reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract general understanding from low-level information, and collaborate with requestors on meaningful solutions
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with cross functional teams such as product management, planning, customer service, and technical teams to coordinate product releases
  • Plan and execute back-office product configurations of product licenses and entitlements
  • Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions and how they will successfully execute their plans
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to simplify and improve back-office product configurations

Requirements


  • 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst with Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) experience
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a highly scheduled environment
  • Familiarity with the standards of technical writing
  • Understanding of product lifecycle management
  • Understanding of License Entitlement Techniques and Management 
  • Process-driven analysis skills and background in various requirement discovery methods
  • Strong facilitation skills to elicit requirements from various personalities across organizational boundaries including senior executives.
  • Ability to understand technical jargon and communicate in layman’s terms
  • Demonstrated experience at driving consensus across multiple stakeholders
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with clients, team members, and management
  • Ability to analyze and document complex business processes
  • Professional experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products
  • Bachelor’s in business, computer science, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

Recommended Qualifications


  • Master’s in business, computer science, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience 
  • Experience in Material, License, and Entitlement configuration
  • Experience in SAP and Salesforce
  • Product license entitlement Experience
  • Scrum and or Project Management Certifications

Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

  

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $72,800.00 - $135,200.00.
