Business Analyst- ServiceNow

As someone with expertise in the software development process, you are skilled at learning and documenting business workflows. You’ll contribute to stories and ideas to the continuing development of our ServiceNow Platform as we reinvent the way in which business is conducted. Through this fast-growing platform, you will have a broad impact across Esri.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues to create new or improve existing business workflows
• Challenge assumptions to help drive innovative solutions
• Document colleague requests and issues as user stories
• Develop strong working relationships across Esri to enable effective communication
• Engage colleagues to develop reporting solutions
• Enable adoption of the platform leveraging digital adoption tools
• Initiate and document functional and acceptance testing during each sprint

Requirements

• 3+ years of direct work experience as a business analyst supporting mission-critical business applications
• Ability to listen effectively to capture the details and nuance of requests and issues
• Ability to transfer those requests into clear and concise requirements
• Translation of technical language
• Ability to analyze and document complex business processes
• Evaluate user adoption gaps to improve engagement
• Facilitate meetings to engage colleagues about issues and requests
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field

Recommended Qualifications

• ServiceNow Platform exposure is ideal since that is the focal point of the role
• Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development process
