Use your survey authoring skills, ArcGIS Survey123 experience, and your keen ability to communicate cross-functionally to help the Esri Customer Experience (CX) team scale our Voice of the Customer (VoC) program. By helping to coordinate customer feedback gathering activities, you will be responsible for supporting the critical infrastructure that generates Esri customer intelligence. Be a part of a team that’s hyper-focused on translating data into insights to improve the touch points that matter most to Esri customers.

Responsibilities


  • Design, author, and share quality customer-facing surveys based on stakeholder requirements
  • Provide guidance for choosing relevant lines of questioning and structure survey forms in logical ways to encourage survey participation and rich results
  • Discover and implement new surveying methods to improve feedback collection
  • Stay current with ArcGIS Survey123 releases to implement new functionality and improve survey experience/styling
  • Collaborate with ArcGIS Survey123 team to detail bugs/enhancements that impact CX surveys
  • Take the lead in resolving survey production issues; identify root cause and fixes
  • Develop survey templates, question sets, and other resources to provide standard practices
  • Implement web technologies through in-app/embedded survey formats
  • Manage, secure, and maintain CX survey response data in ArcGIS Online (AGOL)
  • Collaborate with business intelligence teams as an owner of CX survey data model in AGOL
  • Update hosted feature layers and view definitions for survey authoring or data export tasks
  • Perform QA, maintenance, and review of recurring surveys/survey data models for functional or architectural improvements
  • Ensure that data structures are clean and legible when collaborating with other internal teams

Requirements


  • 2+ years of experience using web GIS and other web-based technologies
  • 1+ years of experience in a customer-facing role
  • Demonstrated experience using ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Survey123
  • Experience writing XLS Forms and/or survey forms more generally
  • Good working knowledge of software development life cycle (i.e., research, design/implementation, QA, UAT, production/maintenance)
  • Possess an outstanding ability to clearly communicate data, stories, and implications to business and technology stakeholders
  • Demonstrate clarity, depth, and relevance when problem solving
  • Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team, as well as independently under own initiative
  • Bachelor’s in geography, GIS, computer science, related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Recommended Qualifications


  • Familiarity with Web GIS, ArcGIS REST API, Python
  • Experience collecting and organizing customer feedback in various forms
  • Ability to integrate data from multiple, disparate sources
