Overview


Work with a team of dedicated data engineers to ensure that sound solutions critical to continued business success are implemented. We are seeking a data engineer with knowledge and experience building, maintaining, and managing data and integrations between business systems across a global enterprise.

Responsibilities


  • Configure and maintain data reconciliation and normalization in a CMDB
  • Build and develop a Pub/Sub model
  • Build data systems and pipelines from multiple sources
  • Implement enterprise integrations that result in scalable, flexible, and highly available solutions that perform well under high traffic
  • Secure data in transit and at rest in accordance to industry and company standards and best practices
  • Conduct complex data analysis and report on results
  • Combine and analyze raw data from different sources
  • Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end
  • Improve data quality and efficiency from multiple data sets
  • Build solutions that can recover gracefully from interruptions in connectivity
  • Perform code reviews and implement best practice coding standards
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours
  • Maintain expertise on current technology, trends, and practices in API management and security requirements

Requirements


  • 2+ years of experience with development in at least one major foundational language such as C#.NET, Java, or JavaScript
  • Ability to work with a team in an Agile environment
  • Development experience with a relational and non-relational database
  • Experience designing and implementing AWS or Azure cloud solutions
  • Experience with commercial software or SaaS solutions used for enterprise API management
  • Knowledge of the development and management required for REST and SOAP implementations
  • Experience with integration of cloud-based services with internally hosted solutions
  • Ability to analyze and document complex business processes and project details
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s in computer science or related field
 

Recommended Qualifications


  • Understanding of Esri software including ArcGIS Enterprise
  • Familiarity with AI/machine learning
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow
